What does the temperature sensor on Pixel 8 Pro do?
It measures the surface temperature of objects you point the back of the phone at. Open the Thermometer app, hold the phone close (~2-5cm) to the object, and tap. Useful for cooking, drink temps, or surface checks. Cannot read body temperature (FDA approval pending in 2026).
